Sony DSC-H2 H5 digital camera shutter button repair
Our Sony DSC-H2 and DSC-H5 Shutter Button Repair Kit
I'm not going to make this a huge discussion about the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H series shutter button because if you found this, you already know what the topic is all about!
I know this hub is going to sound overly biased towards our services, but we are the only place on the internet that will repair your camera with this problem for only $70!
Furthermore, we use SOLID ALUMINUM repair parts and guarantee for the life of your camera it will never break again! Sony charges $171 for this repair and puts back in the same old plastic part that already broke.
I own a small but growing digital camera repair business in Burnsville MN and whenever a customer calls and starts to tell me that they have a Sony DSC-H2 or H5 camera, I always know what they will say next: "... and my shutter button is broken off", without fail.
Thankfully for the people who are able to find our site, we have a few options available for them. We sell the complete Sony shutter button part including the chrome 'collar' or 'ring' that is still on the camera after the shutter button breaks off, we also have a Sony shutter button repair kit for much less that contains the button, spring and locking clip and lastly we have a Sony shutter button repair service where they can send us their camera and we will repair it and ship it back within a few short days of receiving it.
All of the H series shutter buttons we sell are ALUMINUM and guaranteed to never break again!!
Sony H7 & H9 Aluminum Shutter Button Repair Kit
As for pricing, the repair kit is the least expensive at $25, the complete shutter button assembly is $38, and the complete repair package where we install it and ship you the camera back is only $70.
We have complete instructions for the PROPER WAY to do the Sony shutter button repair on one of our blog sites, www.darntoothysam.com/blog.
The repair done properly takes at least 30 minutes or more. If you do not want to tear down your camera yourself to install the part, we will be happy to do it for you!
I started this business with a simple idea: I can help people repair their cameras instead of throwing them away, and I can make it into a growing business if I make just $10 off EVERYBODY instead of $100 off a few people here and there. Our competition will charge you $100 or more for the same repairs we offer.... I can't charge people that much and feel good about it, it's just the way I am.
If we can help with your Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H1, H2, H5, H7, H9, H10 or other shutter button repair, LCD screen repair, or even lens repair we would be happy to help!

Great hub I've just had this problem!
Do you have a Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 camera? Did your shutter button just POP OFF? Are you mad that your $400 Cybershot is now useless due to their design flaw?
Well jump on in! We're gonna do something about it. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/SonyClassAction
i want this how 2 get it
Have had a Sony Cyber-shot DSC H-1 for several years & used it frequently, including carrying it as RVers to AK & Canada, etc. No problem with the shutter button. BUT the on/off button stopped working abruptly with the lens extend. Fresh batteries make no difference. Any suggestions other than taking it to a repair shop? Thanks
Most people have or want a digital camera and so there is a lot of competition from manufacturers which means lots of choice. Choice is good but when the market place becomes really crowded it can be difficult to know what to buy. On top of this the camera models are constantly updated by manufacturers meaning new and improved models every 6 months.
I bought this kit for 12.50 already. You are more of a rip off than Sony
Joanna where did you buy the part?

I am looking for a repair place in Mpls or St. paul to repair my Sony digital camera, not a year old yet. The shutter won't open or close and camera won't come on because of it.
