Casey Anthony Not Guilty of Murder

The verdict was reached by the jury in Orlando Florida in the Casey Anthony murder trial, and read in court today, July 5th. The verdict was a shocking one, but was it really all that surprising? We have seen this exact verdict before in another high-profile murder case where the defendant was also guilty and walked away a free man.

Casey Anthony killed her daughter and was found not guilty of 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Murder, Manslaughter and other charges; but was convicted on four counts of lying to the police.

How many people have a problem with a family member and decide the best thing they can do is just kill them? Seems like there is a lot of people murdering family members all across this country, and yet we hear of only a few of the cases. The cases we hear about either have "beautiful people" in them or celebrities because these are the only people we care about! Normal, average people don't matter.

Casey Anthony killed her daughter Kaylee, and got away with it with only very minor punishment for "false statements" to the police. Casey is young, considered attractive by many, and her daughter was young, vibrant and innocent. Kaylee didn't deserve to die because her mother is a disgusting creature, and Casey doesn't deserve to walk the streets ever again.

The other big murder trial we all know is OJ. Mr. Simpson killed his wife and her boyfriend in cold blood, and walked away without being punished. Why would some random crazy person attack and kill OJ's wife and boyfriend with a knife? They wouldn't. Why did we care about the OJ murder trial? Because he was a celebrity, and their lives are more important than ours, that's why.

So how do you get away with murder anyway? Make sure you plan the crime before hand so that you can cover it up and there isn't clear cut evidence that you did it. That's what OJ and Casey did, and it worked for them!
